Plot

Tim Brassington and his longtime partner, Millie Wilson, move from the city to a rural countryside home hoping to refresh their relationship, especially since Tim has been emotionally distant following his parents’ deaths. Before the move, Millie proposes at a farewell party, but Tim hesitates, causing embarrassment and tension. While hiking near their new house during a storm, they fall into a cave and spend the night there. Tim drinks from a pool of water in the cave; Millie refuses. The next morning, they discover their legs are stuck together. Initially dismissing it, they move forward, but Tim begins experiencing increasingly disturbing symptoms and finds himself physically drawn toward Millie in unnatural ways. Meanwhile, a local couple has gone missing. As physical changes intensify—bodies melding, boundaries eroding—both Tim and Millie confront trauma, fear, and co-dependency in terrifyingly literal ways. They must face what it means to be together when “together” increasingly blurs where one ends and the other begins.
