Plot

In the 2007 film “No Country for Old Men,” set in West Texas, the story revolves around a hunter named Llewelyn Moss, who stumbles upon a drug deal gone wrong in the desert and discovers a suitcase filled with two million dollars. Greed prompts him to take the money, setting off a chain of violent events. Anton Chigurh, a ruthless hitman with a mysterious moral code, is hired to recover the money, leaving a trail of bloodshed in his wake.

As the body count rises, Sheriff Ed Tom Bell, an aging lawman, becomes embroiled in the pursuit of Moss and Chigurh. Bell grapples with the increasing brutality of the criminals and the changing landscape of crime, which he believes has no place for old men.

The film explores themes of fate, morality, and the inexorable march of time in a brutal, unforgiving world where the line between good and evil blurs.
