Plot

Logan (2017) is set in a dystopian future where mutants are nearly extinct. An aging, weary Logan (Hugh Jackman) works as a chauffeur while caring for an ailing Professor Xavier (Patrick Stewart) near the Mexican border. Their lives take a turn when a young mutant girl, Laura (Dafne Keen), with abilities similar to Logan’s, comes into their lives. Laura is pursued by dark forces, prompting Logan and Xavier to protect her as they embark on a dangerous journey to find a sanctuary called “Eden” for mutants in North Dakota. Facing relentless adversaries and their own personal demons, Logan must confront his legacy and embrace the hero within him one last time. The film is a poignant exploration of mortality, redemption, and the bonds of family amidst the backdrop of a harsh and unforgiving world.
