Plot

Ford v Ferrari (2019) follows the true story of an intense rivalry between American car manufacturer Ford and Italian luxury sports car maker Ferrari. In the early 1960s, Ford aimed to boost its image by winning the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans race, dominated by Ferrari. To achieve this, Ford enlists automotive designer Carroll Shelby and British driver Ken Miles to build a revolutionary race car, the Ford GT40.

Shelby and Miles face numerous challenges, including corporate interference, technical issues, and the fierce competition posed by Ferrari. Despite these obstacles, they develop a close bond and push the limits of engineering and driving to create a car capable of beating Ferrari at Le Mans.
