Plot
After the dramatic end of Dune (2021), Dune: Part Two follows Paul Atreides, who joins forces with the Fremen, the desert warriors of Arrakis, under the leadership of Stilgar. Driven by vengeance for his family and a vision of a future where his destiny looms as both messiah and conqueror, Paul seeks to overthrow House Harkonnen, who once betrayed him. Alongside him is Chani, whose bond with Paul deepens into love but is complicated by the weight of prophecy and war. As Paul’s power grows, so do the stakes: the looming threat of imperial rule, betrayal from those close to power, and moral complexities around leadership—what justice means, what sacrifice demands. New adversaries emerge, including the cunning Feyd-Rautha, whose ambition threatens to destabilize everything. The film builds toward a climactic war for Arrakis and control of the spice, the universe’s most precious commodity, forcing Paul to choose between fulfilling prophecy and preserving his humanity.
