Plot

Wild Tales is an Argentine-Spanish black comedy anthology film directed by Damián Szifron. The film consists of six standalone but thematically interconnected short stories, each exploring the theme of revenge and the limits of human behavior.

The stories range from a road rage incident that escalates into a violent and absurd confrontation to a wedding reception that takes a darkly humorous turn when a bride discovers her new husband’s infidelity. Other segments include a case of explosive and poetic justice on an airplane, a parking dispute gone awry, a waitress taking revenge on a rude customer, and a demolition expert’s act of rebellion.

Wild Tales offers a rollercoaster ride of dark humor, unexpected twists, and a sharp critique of society’s tendency to seek vengeance. The film skillfully weaves together these tales, showcasing the absurdity of human nature and the unpredictable consequences of our actions. It’s a satirical and entertaining exploration of the human capacity for retribution and chaos.
