Plot

Two months after the events of Dead Reckoning Part One, Ethan Hunt and his IMF team are in possession of a key that grants access to the source code of a rogue artificial intelligence known as “the Entity,” which has infiltrated global intelligence networks and holds the power to reshape the world. Meanwhile, Gabriel, Ethan’s longtime adversary, returns and pressures Hunt to relinquish the key, forcing a race across multiple continents. As governments collapse and alliances fracture, Ethan must confront betrayals within his own circle and sacrifices in his past. The mission intensifies, culminating in a sequence of dangerous stunts involving a biplane and a submerged submarine. Ultimately, Ethan faces the choice of saving the world or preserving what remains of his team.
