Plot

Maya, recovering from her mother’s death and long estranged from her father Sam, is unexpectedly drawn into his world when she discovers he has been living a double life. After Sam reappears at her mother’s funeral under mysterious circumstances, he offers Maya a job with his real estate business in Cairo — a job that seems legitimate on the surface but hints at darker truths. When Maya realizes Sam’s name doesn’t match his documents and that his past involves espionage, she becomes determined to uncover what he’s hiding. Things take a sharp turn when Sam is kidnapped. To rescue him, Maya must travel across the globe — from Cairo to India to Seoul — and navigate a web of conspiracies, betrayal, and danger.
