Plot

Set in the Viking village of Berk, the story follows Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III, a clever but awkward teenager who is the son of the tribe’s leader, Stoick the Vast. Unlike the other Vikings, Hiccup is not a natural warrior and struggles to live up to the expectations of his people, who pride themselves on slaying dragons. During a raid, Hiccup manages to capture the rarest and most feared dragon, a Night Fury, but instead of killing it, he secretly befriends and names it Toothless.
